What am I using it for?

Crafted from sustainable cork and recycled EVA plastic, these round placemats deliver distinctive character to any table setting. The natural cork harvesting process—occurring every nine years—ensures minimal environmental impact whilst the material actively absorbs CO2 throughout its lifecycle. Each piece varies subtly, making them equally suited to formal gatherings or casual everyday dining, whether indoors or al fresco. Simple maintenance requires only a damp cloth wipe-down. Please note: the plastic composition means these are not heat-resistant, so use trivets for hot dishes. Anything else I should know?

Due to the plastic mix these are not heat proof. The cork is naturally harvested from the tree every 9 years, cork continues to absorb Co2. Wipe clean with a damp cloth.
